The Sparks Family Singers from
Belmont, Mississippi, have entertained Bluegrass Gospel music fans since 1972.
They made their first public appearance at a church in Alabama in
1972. Their first full-length album, "Country Church on the Hill," was recorded in 1974 in Lexingon, Alabama.
Since then, they have recorded 11 albums and performed in at least 16 states.

The Sparks Family Singers have
made many radio and television appearances through the years. They've
traveled as far away as Wisconsin and Texas to entertain Bluegrass Gospel fans.
They hope their music is a blessing and inspiration to all who hear
them.
A TREASURE....
The University of Mississippi's Center for the Study of Soutern Culture recently recorded The
Sparks Family Singers. These "field recordings" are now located in the permanent archives of the State
of Mississippi in an effort to preserve the best of our State's musial heritage for future generations.
The Sparks Family Singers have been recognized by the Center for the Study
of Southern Culture as one of Mississippi's true musical treasures.
